Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (10 ug per lane) of wild-type HeLa cells (WT, Cat# <a href="/other/products/LC810HELA.aspx">LC810HELA</a>) and MET-Knockout hela cells (KO,Cat# <a href="/KO_Lysate/MET/LC810144.aspx">LC810144</a>) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-MET monoclonal antibody <a href="/Antibody/UM800082.aspx">UM800082</a>. The proto-oncogene MET product is the hepatocyte growth factor receptor and encodes tyrosine-kinase activity. The primary single chain precursor protein is post-translationally cleaved to produce the alpha and beta subunits, which are disulfide linked to form the mature receptor.
