Recommend Dilution	ELISA.  Western blot.  Immunocytochemistry. Immunohistochemistry on Cryostat Sections: Ready-to-use.  Incubation time: 1 h at RT. Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Embedded Sections: Ready-to-use. Use pretreatment with 0.001% trypsin together with microwave method.  Incubation time: overnight at 2-8°C.  Recommendations:  For better resolution on frozen sections preincubation (directly after fixation) with 0.05-0.2% Triton X-100, for 5-10 min, depending on tissue type, is recommended (See Ref.3).  For delicate tissues like liver and gastrointestinal material preincubation with saponin is preferred to Triton. For Immunolocalization studies on electron microscopic level preincubation with 0.1-1% saponin is recommended.

Polypeptide Reacting: Plakophilin 1: calculated mol. wt. 80,496 (human) and 80,180 (bovine).  Tested Reactivities on Human Cultured Cell Lines: HaCaT, A-431.
