Reconstitution	Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent).
Preparation	Lyophilized purified Ig fraction.
Applications	Suitable for immunoblotting (Western or Dot blot), ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and Immunohistochemistry as well as other peroxidase-antibody based enzymatic assays. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Peroxidase, anti-Human Albumin and anti-Human Serum.

Storage	Store (undiluted) at 2-8°C prior to restoration. For extended storage reconstitute product with 50% glycerol instead of water and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing.
Stability	Shelf life: one year from despatch. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. Dilute only prior to immediate use.

Summary	This gene encodes the most abundant protein in human blood. This protein functions in the regulation of blood plasma colloid osmotic pressure and acts as a carrier protein for a wide range of endogenous molecules including hormones, fatty acids, and metabolites, as well as exogenous drugs. Additionally, this protein exhibits an esterase-like activity with broad substrate specificity. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate the mature protein.
