Background	Neuromedin B is a bombesin-related peptide formed by 10 amino acids and highly conserved across mammalian species. It acts by binding to its high affinity cell surface receptor, neuromedin B receptor, and upon binding several intracellular signaling pathways are triggered. Neuromedin B regulates the several functions such as exocrine and endocrine secretions, cell growth, body temperature, blood pressure and glucose level. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Neuromedin B coupled to a carrier protein.
