Specificity	This antibody specifically interacts with the Thr - Gly/Pro - pTyr motif of activated, monophosphorylated SAPK1/2 kinases. The antibody accepts the dually phosphorylated site as well (pThr - Gly/Pro - pTyr) and does not interact with the non-phosphorylated form of the protein. Mab SAPK1/2-9H8 shows no crossreaction with activated MAP Kinases 1 or 2.
