Specificity	This antibody detects Interleukin murine 1β. It neutralizes murine interleukin 1 β activity as tested in an experimental arthritis model. Interleukin-1 β (IL-1β ) is a 15-17kD polypeptide with approximately 26% sequence homology to interleukin-1α . An in vitro assay with mouse T-cell line D10S showed half-maximal inhibition of proliferation at an antibody concentration of 50ng/ml when cultivated at a constant IL-1β concentration of 100pg/ml.
