Specifications
Product Data | |
Applications | FC |
Recommend Dilution | Suitable for Immunomicroscopy and flow cytometry or FACS analysis as well as other antibody based fluorescent assays requiring extremely low background levels, absence of F(c) mediated binding, lot-to-lot consistency, high titer and specificity. |
Reactivity | Human |
Host | Goat |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Immunogen | Human κ (kappa) light chain |
Specificity | Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Human IgG and Human Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c). Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes. |
Formulation | 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 with 10 mg/ml Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA, IgG and Protease free) as stabilizer and 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide as preservative. Label: FITC State: Lyophilised F(ab')2 fragments Label: Fluorescein isothiocyanate (Molecular Weight 390 daltons) Absorption emission: 495 nm / 528 nm Molar radio: 5.9 moles FITC per mole of Goat IgG F(ab')2. |
Reconstitution Method | Restore with 1.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). |
Concentration | lot specific |
Purification | This product was prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation. |
Conjugation | FITC |
Storage Condition | Store vial at 2-8°C prior to restoration. For extended storage add glycerol to 50% and then aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This antibody is stable for one month at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
Background | F(ab')2 HUMAN kappa Antibody Fluorescein Conjugated is designed for immunofluorescence microscopy, fluorescence based plate assays (FLISA) and fluorescent western blotting. This product is also suitable for multiplex analysis, including multicolor imaging, utilizing various commercial platforms. |
