Background	Neurokinin B (KNB) is a 10-peptide chain (decapeptide) attached to a terminal amide group. It belongs to the tachykinin family and it is implicated in a variety of human functions and pathways such as the secretion of gonadotropin-releasing hormone. Neurokinin B is expressed along with the peptides kisspeptin and dynorphin A in the neuronal cells of the arcuate nucleus. This antibody was generated by immunization of rabbits with Neurokinin B coupled to a carrier protein.
