Immunogen	This antibody was raised by immunising rats with interferon gamma receptor.
Specificity	This antibody recognises IFN-γRα, which is a class II cytokine receptor family member that serves as a IFN-γ-binding chain associated with the IFN-γ β. This antibody is recomended as an efficient blocking agent for the interferon gamma receptor (Basu et al. 1988). It has been also used in the flow cytometric analyses of this receptor protein.
