Clone Name | N418 |
Applications | FC, IF, IHC, IP |
Recommend Dilution | Immunoprecipitation. Immunohistochemistry on Frozen Sections. Immunofluorescence. Flow Cytometry: Use 10 µl of 1/25-1/100 diluted antibody to label 106 cells in 100 µl. |
Reactivity | Mouse |
Host | Hamster |
Clonality | Monoclonal |
Immunogen | Mouse spleen dendritic cells. |
Specificity | This antibody recognizes the murine homologue of Human CD11c, which is a 150/90kD member of the beta 2 integrin family. In mice, CD11c is primarily expressed by dendritic cells. Clone N418 has been reported to enhance antigen specific responses when used to target dendritic cells in vivo. |

Concentration | lot specific |
Purification | Affinity Chromatography on Protein A |
Conjugation | Unconjugated |
Storage Condition | Store undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. |
Gene Name | integrin alpha X |

Background | CD11c (integrin alpha X chain protein) combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte specific integrin referred to as inactivated C3b (iC3b) receptor 4 (CR4). The alpha X beta 2 complex seems to overlap the properties of the alpha M beta 2 integrin in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium cells, and in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. The CD11c antigen is a marker for hairy cell leukaemia. |
Synonyms | ITGAX, Integrin alpha-X, Leu M5 |
