Direct Fluorescenceimmunoassay staining of target antigens in a permissive tissue culture system. Acetone fixation of the antigen source is recommended prior to staining. Enzyme amplification following reaction with FITC conjugate can also be accomplished utilizing enzyme-antibody conjugates specific to FITC.
