Immunogen	Animals were immunized with purified CR1 from human erythrocytes. Spleen cells were fused with P3X63Ag8.653 myeloma cells.
Specificity	The antibody binds to a site distinct from the C3b binding site, and can be used to measure the number of receptors despite occupancy by ligand. This antibody has been used for analysis of the expression of the CR1 receptor on human leukemia-derived CD4+ T cell lines by flow cytometry (Yaskanin 1995).
