Summary	FAM3B is a secreted glycoprotein that is a part of the cytokine like-protein family. Due to alternative splicing and alternate signal peptide cleavage sites, multiple isoforms are known. This protein is expressed by pancreatic islet alpha and beta cells and can also induce beta cell apoptosis.
